Who created the course?

Course Leaders are Ayman Shaaban and Kai Schuricht. 

Digital Forensics and Incident Response Group Manager and Cybersecurity expert

Ayman Shaaban joined the company in 2014. He has helped build digital forensics labs and provided response and analysis for cyber incidents across a variety of industries. He also developed a range of global DFIR training courses, obtained DFIR certificates, and published his own book “Practical Windows Forensics” in 2016.

Kai started his career in the information security domain in 2010 as a security consultant and joined GERT in 2016 as an incident response specialist. He has been involved in building digital forensic labs and providing responses to different variants of cyber incidents around the world.  Kai holds several international certifications including GCFA, GCFE, ECIR, ECTHP, CCSK, CISM and ISO/IEC 27035) and also holds a Diploma in Business Informatics (FH) and a M.Sc. in Digital Forensics.
